TOMS RIVER-If you want, you can imagine. During the evening rush hour, you are driving on a busy road. When an excavator suddenly lands on the top of your vehicle, you will stop at the traffic lights as you should. This is exactly what happened to a person who was lucky to be alive.

Toms River Town Police spokesperson Gillian Messina confirmed to the Jersey Shore Online that on December 8, due to a motor vehicle accident, troops were called to the intersection of Whitesville Road and Highway 70. However, it is one of the books.

Messina said that 56-year-old Christoph Caches of Toms River was towing a trailer loaded with an excavator when he turned right into Whitesville Road. When turning, the trailer flipped and the excavator landed on the vehicle at the red light.

Surprisingly, both Caches and the driver of the other car left unscathed.

Caches received a subpoena for negligent driving.

During the initial detection and cleaning process, the accident closed the busy road section for several hours.

The accident is still being investigated by Toms River Police Security Officer Ryan Fitzgerald.
