Doosan launches 10 new excavators to complement the DX-7 series | Industrial Vehicle Technology International

With the launch of these 10 new machines, Doosan has completed the release of its new medium-sized "DX-7" series of 17-level V crawler and wheeled excavators, ranging from 14 tons to 25 tons.

The new models are DX140LC-7, DX140LCR-7 and DX160HT-7 crawler excavators with weights ranging from 14 to 16 tons. DX235LC-7, DX235LCR-7 and DX255LC-7 crawler excavators with a weight range of 23-25 ​​tons. A 17-ton DX165WR-7 wheeled excavator and three other wheeled excavators-DX170W-7, DX190W-7 and DX210W-7, weigh in the range of 18-22 tons.

The new car combines higher comfort, stronger tool carrying capacity and novel operator assistance technology, as well as new features that improve fuel efficiency, uptime and return on investment, with a focus on improving power, robustness and agility. The maintenance of the diesel particulate filter (DPF) is also greatly reduced, and the machine only needs maintenance after 8000 hours of operation.

All DX-7 medium-sized machines have many innovative new features, including: the most advanced high-comfort cab; new tilt rotator mode; heavier standard and optional counterweight; enhanced tool carrying capacity; intelligent hydraulic system ; Fine swing function; and a new hanging eye.

In the past six months, Doosan has launched the first seven models of the DX-7 mid-size Stage V series, namely the 23-ton DX225LC-7 crawler excavator; the 16-ton DX140W-7 and DX160W-7 wheeled excavators ; 25 tons of DX245NHD-7 crawler excavators; and 21 tons of DX210-7, DX210NLC-7 and DX210LC-7 crawler excavators.

This process started with DX225LC-7, which is the first product in this size range to use Doosan's high-performance and fuel-efficient D-Ecopower Virtual Emission (VBO) technology. All in all, the new mid-sized DX-7 model offers significantly higher performance in all aspects compared to the previous generation Stage IV machine.
