A furious coal miner went on a rampage with a 40-tonne digger and crushed the cabs of five tipper trucks, claiming his boss had not paid his wages for a month

The man, identified only as Hakan M, was filmed driving his giant machine towards a line of tipper trucks at the mine near Mount Cudi, in Turkey's Sirnak Province last month.

It is claimed Hakan's uncle, Omar M - who is also his boss -  owed him a month's wages, prompting the violent action which seriously damaged the five trucks, worth around £100,000 each.

In the footage which was uploaded to social media by one of the workers at the mine, Hakan can be seen crushing the roofs of several trucks using a digger.

This is the moment disgruntled digger driver Hakan M used his 40-tonne machine to destroy several trucks at a coal mine near Mount Cudi in Turkey's Sirnak Province last month

Hakan accused his uncle Omar of not paying his wages so decided to damage several trucks at the mine

He caused thousands of pounds of damage to each truck by driving his massive bucket through the roof

The heavy arm of the digger crushes the trucks one by one whilst Hakan's other staff watch from a safe distance in complete shock at their colleague's behaviour.

Local news site Konhaber reports that Hakan's colleagues eventually intervened and managed to convince him to get out of the digger and to stop destroying trucks.

Local media reports that Hakan spoke to his uncle after the incident and the pair agreed to make a deal regarding the damage done to the trucks.

The details of the deal were not revealed and it is not clear if Hakan will be facing any legal action.
